As an enigmatic operative for a faction steeped in secrets, the Bender wields the power to govern the laws of physics with a mere thought. They could also serve as steadfast enforcers of cosmic equilibrium, ensuring that the scales of the universe remain finely balanced. Alternatively, they might be rogue scientists pushing the boundaries of matter and existence, forever experimenting in search of knowledge.

The Bender is a fixed point in space that cannot be moved unless they choose to. The Bender cannot be moved against their will, no matter the external forces applied.

Push / Pull: 2nd - Action - Manifest - 6 Spaces

The Bender creates a localized gravitational pull that draws enemies toward it. The Bender targets a foe within range. The target must succeed on a contested Manifest check or take Escalation damage and have one of the following effects:

  • The targeted creature is pushed away from the Bender in a straight line a number of spaces equal to the difference that they failed by.

  • The targeted creature is pulled toward the Bender in a straight line a number of spaces equal to the difference that they failed by.

Weight of the World: 3rd - Passive - Manifest - 6 Spaces

The bender can greatly increase the gravitational pull on objects located within its orbit. Whenever an enemy begins their turn or enters within range, they must succeed on an Endure check against the Bender's Manifest die. If they fail, they take escalation damage, stop moving immediately, and their speed is reduced to 0 until the end of their turn.

Event Horizon: 4th - Action - Manifest - 6 Spaces - Focus - 1 Minutes

The Bender distorts the surrounding space, creating an area where gravity functions abnormally. The Bender selects a space within range. For the duration of the power, the chosen space and all adjacent spaces require double speed to move through. Any creature that ends its turn in the affected spaces takes escalation damage.

Collapse: 5th - Action - Manifest - 6 Spaces

The Bender generates a localized gravity well that crushes everything within its reach. All foes within range must succeed on a Navigation check against the Bender's Manifest die; otherwise, they take Escalation damage, are violently pulled to the nearest unoccupied space next to the Bender, and are knocked Prone.
