Dying of Laughter: 1st - Passive - Manifest - Self
The mere presence of the Jester brings about fits of laughter. Any foe that starts its turn or enters within 3 spaces of the Jester must succeed on an Endure check against the Jester’s Influence die or be forced to spend their next action laughing uncontrollably.
Scene Change: 2nd - Action - Manifest - 18 Spaces
With a snap of its fingers, the Jester reshapes reality. The Jester chooses a foe within range. They must succeed in a contested Manifest check or suffer Escalation Damage and be teleported to an unoccupied space within range.
Slapstick: 3rd - Reaction - Attack- 6 Spaces
The Jester can attempt to force a creature to slip, tumble, or otherwise stumble. Whenever a creature misses the Jester with a melee attack, the Jester can make a melee attack as a reaction. On a hit, the target takes escalation damage and is knocked prone.
Understudy: 4th - Action - manifest - 12 Spaces - Focus - 1 Minutes
The Jester snaps their fingers, swapping one creature for a new performer. The Jester selects a foe within range. That foe must succeed on a contested Manifest check. If they fail, they are transformed into a clown for the duration of this power. While in clown form, they cannot use powers or items unless they spend their preceding action comically narrating what they intend to do.
Last Act: 5th - Action - Manifest - 6 Spaces
The Jester concludes the performance of a single actor on stage. The Jester selects a target within range. The target must succeed on an Endure check against the Jester’s Manifest die; otherwise, they will drop to 0 Life Points. Once a target successfully withstands this power, it becomes immune tothis power for the remainder of the encounter.
