Unwritten Horror
The Unwritten Horror is a being that should not exist—a nightmare without a name or form that logic can define. Its shape constantly shifts; at times, it appears humanoid, while at others, it manifests as a grotesque amalgamation of twisting tendrils, broken limbs, and half-formed faces.
It slithers through the cracks of perception, slipping into the minds of those who gaze upon it, rewriting their memories with whispered fragments of impossible truths.
To witness the Unwritten Horror is to forget what came before. Its presence warps the mind, unraveling thoughts and replacing them with echoes of something never meant to be.
No two accounts of the Horror are alike, for it is nothing and everything at once—an aberration of reality that erases itself as quickly as it appears.

The horror cannot be fully understood. Any creature attempting to glean information about it must make their check at disadvantage and will receive conflicting details. Additionally, whenever a creature attempts a glean check contested by the Unwritten Horror, they take Escalation Damage.
Memory Fracture: 2nd - Action - Influence - 30 Spaces
The Horror tears the memories from its victim's mind. The Horror selects a foe within range and does not require line of sight to target a creature with this ability. The target must succeed on a Glean check against the Horror's Influence die. If they fail, they cannot recall the last 10 minutes multiplied by the difference between the two dice.
Nameless Terror: 3rd - Action - Influence - 6 Spaces
The Horror contorts into a shape that no mind can fully comprehend. The Horror selects a foe within range. The target must succeed on an Endure check against the Horror’s Influence die or will be unable to attack it or use a Power until the end of their next turn.
Reality Rewrite: 4th - Reaction - Manifest - 12 Spaces
When the Horror takes damage, it alters its presence in the timeline. The Horror can use its reaction to negate damage taken and teleport up to 12 spaces, leaving behind a false afterimage that lingers until the start of its next turn.
Erasure: 5th - Action - Influence - 6 Spaces - Focus - 1 Minute
The Horror utters a word that has never been spoken, unraveling the very fabric of existence. The Horror selects a target within range. That target must succeed on a contested Influence check or suffer escalation damage and permanently lose all memories of one person chosen by the Horror.
