Clad in a riot of colors and textures, every piece of their clothing tells a story of experimentation and explosive potential. The air around them crackles with anticipation as they create unpredictable distractions and dangerous diversions, turning the tide of battle with every meticulously crafted brew.

Acting as rogue engineers, demolitionists-for-hire, or scavenger-turned-warlords of invention, the Saboteur's creations can heal, harm, or annihilate—depending on who pays the highest price.

The Saboteur is never certain how their creations will behave, but that’s part of the fun. The first time the Saboteur makes a Glean check in a round, apply the following effects based on the result of the roll:

  • If they roll a 1, their Glean die does not decrease in size.

  • If they roll the maximum value, they regain Life Points equal to half of the Escalation value.

The Saboteur creates and throws an alchemical explosive. The Saboteur creates one of the following explosives and then immediately throws it at an enemy within range:

Sapper: 3rd - Passive - Glean - Self

The Saboteur has extensive knowledge in demolition, allowing them to maximize the effectiveness of explosives. The area of effect of the Saboteur's bangs increases by one space in every direction.

Corrosion Grenade: 4th - Action - Glean - 6 Spaces

The saboteur throws a grenade that detonates, releasing a dense, corrosive mist. The Saboteur creates and throws a Corrosion Grenade to a chosen space within range. Any creature, other than The Saboteur, that starts their turn in or enters within 3 spaces of the chosen location takes Escalation damage and is unable to speak while within the cloud of mist. The cloud lasts until the end of combat or until it is dispersed in some manner.

Alchemic Cataclysm: 5th - Action - Glean - 18 Spaces

The Saboteur unleashes a chaotic explosion that triggers unpredictable effects in a chain reaction. All foes within range must succeed on a Navigate check against the Saboteur's Glean die or take escalation damage and be knocked prone.
