Blight Behemoth

The Blight Behemoth is a walking disaster, a grotesque fusion of necrotic tissue, crystalline Exaltium growths, and constantly oozing sores filled with irradiated pus. It moves with agonizing slowness, but each step it takes poisons the land around it, warping the terrain and leaving behind twisted vegetation that pulses with sickness. A constant haze of toxic mist surrounds its body, seeping into the lungs of anyone who comes near and corrupting machines, ecosystems, and magic alike. Where it walks, the ground blackens, rivers become clogged with sludge, and wildlife either mutates or dies in agony.

The Behemoth is driven by no known instinct beyond an endless urge to spread, as if its very existence is a plague upon reality. Some believe the Behemoth represents the first of a new species—one that does not die but instead spreads its contamination until the entire world is reshaped in its image. Entire settlements have fallen to their approach, their defenders rotting from the inside out before they could flee. Scholars debate whether it is the result of failed experiments, an ancient bioweapon, or a harbinger of a deeper force awakening beneath the world's surface.

The Behemoth emanates a toxic aura that drains the strength of nearby individuals. Any foe that starts their turn within range of the Blight Behemoth must succeed on an Endure check or take Escalation damage.

Crushing Swing: 2nd - Action - Attack - Melee - Area: 2 Spaces

The Behemoth swings its enormous, crystallized limb in a wide arc. All creatures within range must succeed on a Navigate check against the Behemoth's Attack die or be knocked prone and take half escalation damage.

Irradiated Reconstitution: 3rd - Action - Endure - Self

The Behemoth's wounds heal as its corrupted flesh regenerates. The Behemoth regains Life Points equal to half of escalation.

Blightwave: 4th - Action - Manifest - Area: 3 Spaces

The Behemoth unleashes a surge of corruptive energy that infects everything nearby. All creatures within range must succeed on an Endure check against the Behemoth's Manifest die. If they fail, they become infected. An infected creature takes half of the escalation damage at the start of each of their turns until they take an action to purge the infection.

Mutation Surge: 5th - Action - Attack - Melee - Focus - 1 Minute

The Behemoth’s body undergoes rapid mutation, increasing its size and power. For this duration, the Behemoth doubles in size and gains advantage on Attack, Endurance, and Navigation checks.
