The Talker issues a verbal command that is so powerful that it overrides free will. The Talker selects a foe within range. The target must succeed on a Glean check against the Talker's Influence die or take Escalation damage and take one of the following actions as a reaction, chosen by the Talker:
Drop: The affected foe drops whatever they are holding.
Approach: The affected foe moves at full speed as close to the Talker as possible.
Run: The affected foe moves at full speed as far away from the Talker as possible.
Stop: The affected foe loses focus on the power they were concentrating on.
Worship: The affected foe falls prone and spends their action worshipping the Talker.
Twist the Narrative: 3rd - Reaction - Glean - 12 Spaces
The Talker manipulates the situation to benefit themselves. When they or an ally fail an Influence or Glean check, the Talker may force the roll to be rerolled with advantage immediately.
Crushing Rebuke: 4th - Action - Influence - 6 Spaces
The Talker unleashes a verbal barrage that is so overwhelming it erodes confidence and weakens resolve. The Talker selects a foe within range. That foe must succeed on a Glean check against the Talker’s Influence die. If they fail, they will take escalation damage and suffer disadvantage on all capacity checks until the start of the Talker's next turn.
Absolute Authority: 5th - Action - Influence - 12 Spaces - Focus - 1 Minute
The Talker becomes the sole authority in the minds of those around them, distorting reality with their influence. All enemies within range must succeed on a Glean check against the Talker's Influence die. If they fail the check, affected creatures will take 2 points of damage each time they target the Talker with an attack or power for the duration of this effect.
