The mere presence of the Lament unsettles the mind, leaving its victims frozen in place. Any humanoid that starts their turn or moves within 3 spaces of the Lament must succeed on an Endure check against the Lament's Manifest die, or their speed is reduced to 0 until the end of their turn.

Tormented Wail: 2nd - Action - Manifest - 6 Spaces

The Lament lets out a chilling scream that sends waves of sorrow through those nearby. All creatures within range must make an Endure check against the Lament's Manifest die. If they fail the check, they take Escalation damage and must use a reaction (if available) to move 3 spaces directly away from the Lament. The creature must end this movement in an unoccupied space.

Lingering Despair: 3rd - Action - Manifest - 6 Spaces

A haunting presence lingers in the minds of those who hear the cries of the Lament. Choose a foe within range. They must succeed on a Glean check against the Lament's Manifest die; otherwise, they cannot benefit from advantage on any check until the end of their next turn.

Unshakable Grief: 4th - Reaction - Influence - 12 Spaces

The sorrow of The Lament is contagious. When a foe within range succeeds on a check against the Lament’s powers, the Lament can use its reaction to force them to reroll, taking the second result into account.

Call to the Grave: 5th - Action - Manifest- 6 Spaces - Focus - 1 Minute

The Lament draws its victim toward the abyss. Choose an enemy within range. They must make an Influence check against the Lament’s maximum Manifest die. If they fail, they become entranced and have disadvantage on all rolls made to avoid damage for the duration of the power.
