Character Creation

Begin by defining who your character is at their core. Consider their personality, aspirations, and the primary drive that sets them on the path of adventure.

Distribute your Capacity Dice (d4, d6, d8, d8, d10, d12) among the faculties: Endure, Navigate, Influence, Glean, Manifest, Attack. This step defines your character's capabilities and areas for growth.

Create three Lore Statements to outline your character's backstory, influencing gameplay through situational advantages or disadvantages.

Calculate your Life points, equal to the maximum value of your Endure die. This number reflects how many hits you can take before mortal peril.

Calculate your Speed, equal to the maximum value of your Navigate Die. This number determines how many spaces travel during the Move action.

New adventurers start with 5 aptitude points to spend on powers as they wish, following the Powers section of this guide. If your campaign is supposed to represent experienced adventurers or you are joining a campaign part of the way through your Game Master might give you more aptitude points to start.

Name your character, describe their appearance, and list any personal items. Note your parties starting Wealth Points and the Party Supplies Die size as determined by your GM.
