Alpha 1.1

Character Creation

  • Begin by defining who your character is at their core. Consider their personality, aspirations, and the primary drive that sets them on the path of adventure.

  • Distribute your Capacity Dice (d4, d6, d8, d8, d10, d12) among the faculties: Endure, Navigate, Influence, Glean, Manifest, Attack. This step defines your character's capabilities and areas for growth.

  • Create three Lore Statements to outline your character's backstory, influencing gameplay through situational advantages or disadvantages.

  • Calculate your Life points, equal to the maximum value of your Endure die. This number reflects how many hits you can take before mortal peril.

  • Calculate your Speed, equal to the maximum value of your Navigate Die. This number determines how many spaces travel during the Move action.

  • New adventurers start with 5 aptitude points to spend on powers as they wish, following the Powers section of this guide. If your campaign is supposed to represent experienced adventurers or you are joining a campaign part of the way through your Game Master might give you more aptitude points to start.

  • Name your character, describe their appearance, and list any personal items. Note your parties starting Wealth Points and the Party Supplies Die size as determined by your GM.
