Choose Lore Statements

Each character starts with three Lore Statements that define their past, including significant relationships, experiences, or events that have shaped them. Mechanically, Lore Statements can be used to:

Gain advantage on a roll when the statement is directly relevant to the situation (once per session for each Lore Statement).

Trigger a Flashback, introducing a minor detail or connection that is beneficial to the character (at the discretion of the GM).

 Example Lore Statements:

“I once smuggled goods through the Ascension gates undetected.”

“I trained under an exiled Reaper operative.”

“I owe a powerful Broker a debt I can’t repay.”

Lore Statements enhance roleplay and provide mechanical benefits, reinforcing their significance in the narrative.

I want my bounty hunters' lore statements to reflect their tenacity, adherence to their code and aversion to socialization. Here are three starting lore statements that reflect my intent.

“Once I accept a bounty, nothing will stop me from tracking my prey down.”

“I cannot abide the suffering of innocents and will not take a job that hurts people that I think do not deserve it.”

“I can lie or bully my way to getting information but can not converse pleasantly unless I am close to the other person.
